Monster Hunter World Has Shipped Over 14 Million Copies Worldwide
Monster Hunter World, the best-selling Capcom game ever released, continues to set sales records having now shipped over 14 million units worldwide, Capcom announced. The game’s shipment numbers were last reported in July to have reached 13 million units.
Meanwhile, Monster Hunter World's big new expansion, Iceborne which was released on September 6, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and is expected to be released on PC in January 2020, had already shipped over 2.5 million copies worldwide within about a week of its release. The company said this includes Monster Hunter World: Iceborne (digital sales) and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition (physical shipments and digital sales).
